Programs offered via REMEC from Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Credit will be assigned only if the appropriate forms have been completed and submitted to the address listed below.
The Pedi Express: iKID - Kids in Distress Purpose: This 3-part course will improve assessment and nursing care skills for staff that care for children. To provide education on pediatric conditions with information to improve the strategies of care for children in clinical or home settings. Attendance at all 3 parts is recommended to achieve the overall intent but is not required. Objectives: The over obejective is to improve pediatric nursing care in our area/region. Objectives for each part will be provided on individual session flyers. Target Audience: Nurses and other health care professionals caring for children in home, clinic, or acute care settings. Registration: Registration is required 10 days prior to the session. For onsite (at Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital), email: gwen.foss@helendevoschildrens.org. There is not charge for SH/HDVCH or Partners in Children's health hospital employees. Other: $40/person for each part. For video conference to Partners in Children's Health sites, please fill out the Videoconference Request form and return to Gwen Fosse. For those planning to attend at a REMEC member site, please contact your local site coordinator for room availability at your facility.
