Years of service  at MMC:  December of 1997.  Lisa has been a part of the REMEC staff since July 0f 2001.

Last job held before coming to REMEC:  Department Assistant for Patient (Community) Education

Educational Background:   Lake Superior State University, majoring in Medical Technology.  BSMT from Michigan State University. One year post-graduate internship at Plummer Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Favorite part about working in REMEC:   "The interaction (no pun intended!) with people, hospitals, universities, businesses, etc. across the country is probably one of the best parts of this job.  To be able to use the REMEC technology to connect people from all over through videoconferencing is a great thing, saving time and money for everyone involved.  But I think the most impressive thing for me, the connection that gives me the greatest pleasure and makes it all worthwhile, is when we can set up a patient consult for a family or patient in a rural area, enabling them to see their specialist without having to drive long distances.  I enjoy the technical challenges even if I still can't figure out how to set up my VCR at home!"
